ProSpec Products Meet LEED Standards

What is LEED?
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to help define green building standards. In LEED, credits are distributed across five major credit categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources and Indoor Environmental Quality. Buildings qualify for LEED certification based on the total number of points a project earns. There are four levels of LEED certification.

Do ProSpec Products Contribute towards LEED Credits?
ProSpec is committed to manufacturing environmentally friendly products. Our products can help you achieve LEED certification by contributing towards credits in three areas:
•  IEQ 4.1 - 4.3: Low-Emitting Materials for better indoor environmental quality
•  MR 4: Recycled Content for responsible raw material selection
•  MR 5: Regional Materials, to support the use of local materials and reduce the environmental impacts resulting from transportation
