Permalastic System

A two-component, tile setting mortar designed for maximum adhesion capabilities, deformability and capable of bridging 3/16” (5 mm) cracks. Ideal for exterior commercial applications, tile installations over suspended concrete slabs and difficult to bond to substrates.

Uses:
For installation of:

*All natural stone should be tested to be sure discoloration does not occur.

For installations over:
  • Suspended slabs
  • Properly cured and finished concrete
  • Cured portland cement mortar
  • Cement backer unit (CBU)
  • Exterior grade plywood (interior floors only) - 24” (61 cm) on center (OC) max
  • ProSpec B-6000 Waterproof / Crack Isolation Membrane
  • Gypsum plaster or gypsum board (dry areas: wall only)
  • Properly prepared cutback
  • Properly prepared tile
  • Properly prepared VCT tile
  • Cork underlayment
  • Countetops
Note: Difficult to bond substrates like existing vinyl tile or cutback adhesive require extra preparation. Consult ProSpec Technical Services.
